Ipswich Pickleball Association (IPA)

The Ipswich Pickleball Association was proudly established in 2023, with its passionate founding members still serving on the committee today. United by a shared vision, they are committed to building a vibrant, inclusive community of like-minded individuals who enjoy staying active, having fun, and growing the sport of pickleball across the region. Together, they continue to create opportunities for connection, competition, and plenty of laughter - both on and off the court.

Here’s what we do:

• Foster Real Connection
  At the heart of IPA is the permission to play again. No pressure, no perfection. Just a friendly atmosphere, meaningful connection, and the joy of doing something good for your mind and body.
• Add Value for Members
  Our members enjoy a wide choice of sessions, discounts, birthday perks, and opportunities to connect with others who love to play. We’re committed to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for all skill levels.
• Promote and Develop Pickleball
  We’re passionate about growing pickleball in Ipswich and beyond. That means researching new venues, working with council and government bodies, and advocating for more local sessions. We also run coaching clinics, fund training through grants, and support beginners at every session.
• Uphold Standards and Safety
  We care about creating a space where people feel welcome, supported, and safe to play. That’s why we maintain clear, consistent standards from how sessions run to how we show up for each other on and off the court. It’s about making everyone feel safe and secure when they play with us.
